I’m writing this as a warning about my absolutely infuriating experience trying to buy glasses online. The entire process was a masterclass in frustration, designed to make you give up and pay more. My final assessment is that this company is dishonest, doesn't honor promos, and makes it impossible to collect an offer when the site is full of glitches. They have no customer service available 24 hours, and no agent when you need one. It felt completely unprofessional. After the website failed to apply a BOGO offer, I felt I had no choice but to contact their support to get the deal I was promised.
Customer: Your website had a BOGO promo, but it was so full of glitches that it charged me for both pairs. I want a credit for the second pair.
CS Rep: I'm sorry for the technical difficulties you experienced. I see the promo wasn't applied. What I can do is authorize a full return. You can ship the glasses back and then place a new order to get the promotion.
Customer: That makes no sense. The glasses are the correct style and prescription. This was your website's error. The simple solution is to credit my card for the pair that should have been free.
CS Rep: I understand, but our policy requires a return and reorder to correct a promotional error like this. I can send you a prepaid shipping label.
