Shop Elsewhere! My Nightmare Online Glasses Purchase & Horrible Customer Service 😤
I feel compelled to share my absolutely terrible online shopping experience as a stern warning to others. If you're considering buying glasses online, please be extremely cautious, especially with certain retailers. I had an issue with my recent order, and what followed was a nightmare of trying to get help. It made me feel exactly as I've read others describe: "Shop elsewhere. Terrible company to purchase from if you have any issues with your glasses. They will gladly take your money but when it time for them to fix the issue it seems impossible. The business is pretty much fully automated. When you finally get In touch with someone in India. They are extremely rude and will end the call when they think it needs to be ended. They can careless .why ? Because theres no one eles to talk too in order to file a complaint. I will never do business with glassesusa again. It’s feel like your being scammed. That feeling of no way to get help." That feeling of being scammed and having no recourse pushed me to leave a review and try, one last time, to speak to customer service.
Customer: I'm calling again because I have an issue with the prescription on my glasses, and frankly, I'm at my wit's end trying to get this resolved. CS Rep: I understand your frustration, sir/ma'am. I'm very sorry to hear you're having trouble with your prescription glasses. Can you please provide your order number so I can look into this for you? Customer: It's [Order Number]. The last time I called, the representative was incredibly unhelpful and practically hung up on me. I just need to get these glasses corrected, and I'm tired of feeling like no one cares. CS Rep: I sincerely apologize if your previous experience with our support team was unsatisfactory. That is certainly not the standard of service we aim to provide. I see your order details here. Can you describe the specific issue you're experiencing with the prescription? Customer: The vision feels off, blurred in certain areas. My eye doctor confirmed the PD was incorrect based on my measurements. I’ve already sent an email, but responses are too slow, and I just need a clear path forward. CS Rep: Thank you for clarifying. We can certainly investigate the PD issue. I'm setting up a free return label for you right now so you can send the glasses back. Once we receive them, we will remake your lenses with the corrected PD at no additional charge.
